What else has twenty-four? The hours in a day! Imagine all you can do in 24 hours, or all you can write! Have you taken a day just for yourself? This might be a good week to do that. Just have one day where you can really focus and write. We're getting closer to the finish line, keep writing!

6 days to finish the story now. I should be able to tie everything up by then I think.
Today was also very good, and I can use it as a lot to be thankful about. This is my first time in the US during Thanksgiving. So I went after Burrowing Owls today, and I do not have a good track record with owls. Today was no exception as I did not get them. I did have some successes though. I photographed my 300th identified bird (plus more) which was a target for this trip. I also correctly guessed what a bird would be that I came across, although do not know why I came to that conclusion.
I also got an email from someone from the Hawkwatch group, who has asked if I can find a way to join them on a bird trip in San Rafael. I think that I should be able to do it, as I can get an Uber. It will cost a little but I have been quite good on the money front so far as most trips have cost me under 20 bucks, and some less than 5 bucks.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you were able to crash someone's meal and partake properly, eating yourself sick on turkey (or tofurky, if you're not a meat eater), mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole, and at least eight kinds of pie, including pumpkin? Yes? It's not a proper Thanksgiving if you haven't gained at least four pounds in two hours, and contemplated vomiting at least once.
Uber isn't too bad, price-wise; hope you made it out there!
No gatecrashing Thanksgiving for me. Going by how kind Americans have been, I think they did not invite me simply because they probably did not want to inflict their family on me. I just had a quick meal at the hotel and did a bigger tip than usual. It was so funny the servers reaction! haha. Probably thought "Eugh, a UK person, he will give me nothing"
